Easter 2022 ~The Resurrection Power of Jesus

When I think about Holy Week and Easter, what usually comes to mind is a rebirth of my spirit, new beginnings or a chance for a fresh start. This year though, as I was praying and pondering over my life during Holy week, I became emotional as I remembered and considered how powerfully Jesus has moved in my life.

Jesus IS loving and kind, but He is also omniscient, omnipresent and ALL POWERFUL and the resurrection on Easter Sunday showcases the almighty power Jesus has to defeat satan, death and save us from eternal damnation.

It’s easy to take the power of Jesus for granted. Much like electricity, even though we use it everyday, we don’t think about it until we experience a power outage and no longer have it. Electricity is powerful, useful and necessary in our lives. Jesus’ power in our lives IS evident. For electricity to work, we have to plug something into the power source. Jesus is our power source. For him to work in our lives, we need to plug into HIM. However, once we plug into Jesus, his power to change and affect our lives becomes undeniably evident to us and all those who know us.

This Easter, take the time to “PLUG IN” to Jesus and enjoy the renewal, refreshment and strength that can only be found in HIS power!
